Armed robbery in Burnt Lake Industrial Park

Blackfalds RCMP attended the scene of an armed robbery in the Burnt Lake Industrial Park on Monday evening

On November 14th, 2016, Blackfalds RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Fas Gas in Burnt Lake Industrial Park.

A male entered the store while a female waited at the door to the business. The male went to the till and demanded the money out of the tills while banging a gun on the counter. The bags were filled with money and cigarettes.

An undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes were taken. Both individuals were wearing face masks, and therefore identification at this point is still under investigation. It is believed that there was three people involved being the male in the store, a female at the door, and a third individual in the suspect vehicle waiting outside.

The vehicle in question is believed to be a grey 2011 Chevrolet Impala and at the time of the robbery was bearing Alberta trailer licence plate 4BR094. The suspect vehicle is believed to be stolen from Red Deer on November 10th, 2016.
