Sylvan Lake residents showed their support for a local refugee project within the community. The Walkathon on June 23 drew 77 people to walk a route of roughly 5 km, raising $12,300 for the Sylvan Lake Refugee Project.
Mayor Sean McIntyre was in attendance and expressed his pride for all the community support the project received. ‘
