It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Anthony "Tony" Joseph Simon Schafer, (81 years old), and Cheryl Eleanor Schafer, (76 years old), on October 11, 2023.
Our hearts are broken with the loss of a devoted dad & mom, a proud grandpa & grandma, a loving brother & sister, a fun uncle & aunt, a caring cousin and a true friend.
Tony and Cheryl loved to travel all over the world, they cherished time visiting with family and friends and they absolutely loved to brag about their kids and their grandkids.
They are survived by their children Tracy & Crystal Schafer, Tina Schafer, Rodger & Jenn Green, Dale & Emily Green and Kim & Mike Moxness. Grandchildren Josh, Eve, Lea, Tani (Lars), Kruz, Garnett, Miranda, Katie (John) and Aly, along with their extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Eckville Community Hall on Monday, October 23 at 1:00 pm.
