H. J. Cody Laker Madi Prelle reached for a shot during play at the 34th annual Central Alberta Schools’ Athletics Association (CASAA) High School tennis tournament. She won gold in the girl’s singles event at the Red Deer Tennis Club last Tuesday.
Prelle defeated Kelsie Caine of Notre Dame 8-2 in the final. She’d previously downed Emma Aspinall of Notre Dame 8-0 in the semifinal.
