It has been an exciting month for the 4-H Shadow Riders.

We had a meeting at the beginning of the month that went well. Then we had several rides and clinics that were very interesting.

One clinic that the Shadow Riders just completed, was a Showmanship/Trail Clinic for levels 1-3 and a Showmanship/Horsemanship Clinic for levels 4-7. Thanks to a grant from Farm Credit Canada, our leaders brought in top notch instructors to help us gain skills for our coming show season.

The Shadow Riders are currently working hard to fundraise money for our new uniforms and the many lessons. We are selling pizzas and doing bottle drives. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Sylvan bottle drive a few weeks ago. We really appreciate the help!

Our members are getting very excited and working very hard to get ready for the coming horse shows. We are very lucky to have Senior and Junior Drill Teams this year and they are hard at work practising moves and putting together routines for the shows.

We are hoping that the warm weather will stay!
