A small plane crashed into a field east of Ponoka on Nov. 13 in the evening. It appears the plane crash-landed and then slid into a copse of trees before fully stopping. A small plane crashed into a field east of Ponoka on Nov. 13 in the evening. It appears the plane crash-landed and then slid into a copse of trees before fully stopping. Mule deer runs into car: A woman was taken to the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre for a check up after a deer hit the driver’s side of her car Thursday night. The incident occurred north of Ponoka on Highway 2A at about 5:45 p.m. The driver’s side airbag deployed and the woman was taken to the hospital, although it is believed the injuries were minor. The incident occurred north of Ponoka on Highway 2A at about 5:45 p.m. The driver’s side airbag deployed and the woman was taken to the hospital, although it is believed the injuries were minor. Wolves on the hunt: A trail cam recently captured these wolves hunting a bull in the southern B.C. around the Noble Lake area of Kamloops. The owners had a trail cam up at a cattle range and when looking through the images found these pictures of a wolf pack hunting one of their bulls. Upon seeing these images, the owners went to see if they were missing a bull. The date stamp shows the images were taken on the morning of Sept. 30.
