Don MacKenzie, president of the Sylvan Lake Seniors Association, presents a cheque worth $1,000 to Sylvan Lake Canadian Tire owner Paul Ventura last Friday.
The money will go toward the Canadian Tire Jumpstart program, which aims to create sporting opportunities for children regardless of their families’ financial standing.
