Samantha Bonwick is coming to Sylvan Lake Municipal Library all the way from Pincher Creek to share her debut novel, Sandcastles, with us.
Featuring soft, warm tones, and gentle washes of colour, Sandcastles is a story about a young girl named Mia, who builds sandcastles while her mother works cleaning houses along the beach. Throughout the story, Mia builds all sorts of things she thinks would be interesting to have, until she finally recognizes what is truly important to her.
Samantha will be leading a seashore themed story time at Sylvan Lake Library tomorrow (Friday, May 9th) from 1-2 p.m. Register for this free event by calling the library at 403-887-2130.
