Sylvan Lake’s Christine Fontaine, a second year Bachelor of Arts student at University of Alberta’s Augustana Campus in Camrose, was one of 325 students from the campus awarded scholarships and awards in the current academic year. She received $700 for Studio Art, funded by an Augustana Faculty Fine Arts Award in Studio Art.
Over $574,000 was provided by the university and campus in recognition of excellence in academics, fine arts, athletics and leadership. Support comes from generous donors, investment earnings on endowments and faculty funded awards.
