A stop in New Brunswick during the Grade 4-6 concert had the students playing a song using spoons as the musical instrument.

The students at Steffie Woima Elementary School perform during the school’s Christmas concerts over Dec. 11-14.

The students were divided into different groups , with each group performing on different days.

The Monday-Wednesday Kindergarten students performed first on Dec. 11. The following day, the Tuesday-Thursday class showed their stuff to friends and family.

The Grade 1-3 students performed unique holiday songs on Dec. 13.

The week of performances was rounded out with a special concert, which a bit more like a play, from the Grade 4-6 students. These students “competed” in a holiday addition of The Amazing Race. Students sang, danced and introduced each of the provinces and territories they were “challenged” in.

Each performance was packed with family members eager to see their child on stage singing and dancing for the holiday season.

Parents took every opportunity to take pictures and record video during the Grade 4-6 concert on Dec. 14. The Grade 4-6 concert was a little different as each class performed in a holiday edition of Amazing Race, and the kids showcased their knowledge of the provinces and territories of Canada.
