Sylvan Agencies Insurance, along with its co-agency Procom Insurance in Red Deer, held a blood drive contest throughout the month of October. Members of the community could donate blood through Canadian Blood Services under one of the offices’ Partners for Life numbers, and then enter to win a prize online. That prize was $250 cash.
At the end of October, all entries were combined, and the winner’s name was drawn. Jill Bried of Blackfalds picked up her winnings Nov. 21.
