Dave More, chair, 2014 Benalto Centennial and Dick Snook, president, Benalto Booster Club, accepted cheques from the Carvella Café team of Cheryll Cartwright, Cathy Pages and Sylvia Rosentreter. They were all smiles as they donated $110.51 to Benalto Train Station and $143.99 to the June 6 Benalto School Reunion.
Carvella Café, located at the west end of 50th Avenue (Railway Ave.) in Benalto, opened on Feb. 5 and in true community spirit will continue to pledge ten per cent of their monthly coffee sales to a local non-profit group.
Carvella Café is a most welcome ‘gem’ for Benalto and for Central Alberta.
