In their Social Studies class, Grade 1 students at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic School are learning about the past and how people lived in that time. Students created their own teepees in honour of National Aboriginal Day, last Thursday, drawing aboriginal symbols during art class before completing their work.

The group included, in the back row, Declan LaBelle, Kenyen Jeffers, Jake Stepien, Hayden Cairney and Liam Schumacher; in the middle row, Marek Hutchinson, Seth Booth, Josh St. Germain, Asher Michael and Wyatt Boutin; and in the front row: Mrs. Sola, Kaydence Deets, Nevaeh Tuck, Kylie Threinen and Ayden Hoffos.
