Here’s a picture of Sylvan Lake’s main street taken in July 1914 by my father who had cabins on 11 St., wrote Ron Watson. Our family spent the summer months at the lake up to 1982 when I left to come to Vancouver. Sylvan had the best beach in Alberta — pretty hard to beat that and most important the clear, clean water!
Sylvan had an artisan well which one could see when you would take a boat out to the middle of the lake and there the bubbling water would be quite evident!
