École H. J. Cody High School student Chase deFrece helped Corina Koch start a fire with flint and steel during provincial hunting day at the Alford Lake facility for A.H.E.I.A. on Sept 28th.
Koch is an exchange student from Austria who is spending a semester at Cody. She has been involved with a couple of Ms. Wagers’ Outdoor Ed excursions including an overnight backpacking excursion out in the Kananaskis country.
She looks forward to doing many different things and experiencing the “Canadian way-of-life”.
