Hello again, I just wanted to give you all an update on the Red Deer West 4-H Beef Club’s activities.
On April 7, we had our Mock Show in Benalto, where it gave us all some practice for our year end show. We also judged some commercial items as well as a heifer and steer class.
On May 5 we did our annual Highway Clean-up on Hwy 11A and our club picked lots and lots of garbage and bottles. We were really lucky it was hot and there was no snow, also a nice man from Prime Boiler Services stopped and donated $200 to our club to buy pizza on them!
On May 7 we had our final club meeting followed by Adopt-A-Road on Range Road 10 where we picked more garbage and helped clean up our community.
Our club would like to invite you to come to the Red Deer & District 4-H Beef Show and Sale on June 3-4 at the Red Deer Westerner Agri Center, we value all your support and hope to see you there!
