Food Truck Thursday will be back for another season beginning the end of the month.
Starting May 31, and running every Thursday throughout the summer season. The last Food Truck Thursday will be held on Sept. 6.
There is a slight change in the way each Thursday will play out. This year the hours of operation has changed.
Food Truck Thursday will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4-7 p.m. each Thursday.
“This way the vendors get a bit of a lunch break,” said Ron Lebsack, acting Chief Administrative officer.
“They will also be able to prepare themselves for the supper rush during that time.”
This year there are a total of seven vendors prepared to serve up food each and every Thursday.
Lebsack says there are another two vendors waiting in the wings in case one pulls out.
“It seems to be a popular venture and people look forward to it,” said Lebsack.
Food Truck Thursday runs each Thursday from May 31 to Sept. 6. The trucks will be parked along 50A Avenue, between 50 Street and 50A Street.
During Food Truck Thursday, 50A Avenue will be closed to motor traffic.
