There’s plenty of fun and academic talent in Sylvan Lake schools, as evidenced by recent events and students’ achievements.

No Frills donated 250 apples to the school for the day, which was held to raise awareness of healthy eating and nutrition.

More than 7,000 entries were received in this year’s contest. Winning entries are viewable online at www.meaningofhome.ca.

The contest is held annually in support of Habitat for Humanity.
