Oops, you missed it again …
It was Hafla-time at Sylvan Lake Legion, Feb. 22.
Gabriellah and her daughter, Julia, made winter go away as they danced their first-ever duet in front of an electric, sold-out audience.
Belly dancers from all over Central Alberta, dressed in their finest costumes wooed their audience through the entire evening.
Not to forget, a fabulous feast (as always), hot music and the “best” door prizes ever.
If that did not give you hope that winter will ever end, you’ll have to wait ‘til May.
Yes, preparations for the spring Hafla have begun. But it’s not too late to join.
Spring Hafla will be held May 31 at the Legion.
