What excitement the last three days!! Feels like just before Christmas and everyone is busy letting Kraft Hockeyville know that they have the heart and community spirit for this grand title and prize. There was such a hush over Sylvan Lake, all you could hear was the tap, tap, tap, tap, enter/return. Traffic was at a halt last night; everyone set their Facebook page to Sylvan Lake Hockeyville 2014 while they voted. They kept us informed on all the families from all parts of the world that were busy tapping along with us.
Even the ‘lone rigger’ wasn’t forgotten when he put out a plea that he needed us to all chip in some extra votes in case he was going to lose his connection way up north in the bush.
There will be more great stories to read the next few days before we hear if we have made it to the next and final rounds … The next few days will be like waiting to open that large gift under the tree … wanting to peek inside, but knowing we will have to just wait.
So, in the meantime, I will just keep following Sylvan Lake Hockeyville 2014 and get to know more about the spirit in my community and all the other communities out there with Sylvan Lake Pride. You all have a great day!! I know I will!!!
