Instructor Ms. Brianna helped Jamie-Lynn check the aquarium she’d just made during the KCS Association summer camp which was themed Under the Sea. The organization has two more themed kids camps this summer, The Great Outdoors, running from July 30 to August 9 and Mini Olympics running August 13 to 16, said Tom Kostiuk.
The camps still have openings for youngsters 3-6 years old (up to 7 years old for children with special needs). Call 403-887-5330 to register for either the Monday and Wednesday sessions or the Tuesday and Thursday sessions. They all run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
With about 15 people per session, the organization will have given over 100 youngsters a camp experience this summer.
