It was a busy day for the Sylvan Lake Dairy Queen on Aug. 10. The ice cream shop was one of many across the province participating in the Miracle Trat Day event. Emergency service personel were present at the store to help make a few of the many blizzards sold throughout the day. The Sylvan Lake location had roughly 200 preordered blizzards for the day which went out to local businesses. Proceeds from the day are donated to Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary and the Stollery in Edmonton. Photo by Megan Roth/Sylvan Lake News
