After intensive fundraising and weather delays, the school’s playground is now open

The Beacon Hill Elementary School playground is now open. Although the installation was postponed once due to weather, the volunteers got the playground in so the students were able to play on the equipment before it gets too cold.

Installation of the playground started on Nov. 6 with the volunteers continuing work until Nov. 15. The school had to wait for two inspections before kids were out playing on the new structures Nov. 29.
