Lisa Robeson tied for third place with this photo of her favourite winter activity, skating on the lake.

Friday morning Sylvan Lake and all of Central Alberta woke to a few centimeters of snow.

To chase away the winter blues, the Sylvan Lake News asked readers on Facebook to submit a photo of their favourite winter activity.

The photo with the most reactions will have its photo printed in the Nov. 22 edition of the Sylvan Lake News. The top five photos are featured on our website.

Readers could submit their photos and vote until 5 p.m. on Nov. 16.

Thank you to everyone who sent in their photos and participated in the contest.
