Alberta Provincial Rural Crime Watch Association (APRCWA) and Benalto & Area Rural Crime Watch Society (BARCWS) presented certificates and cheques to four Benalto School students who won in the provincial poster contest.
In the back row are Pat Knowles-Hill, Yvette Brideau (BARCWS President), Red Deer County Protective Services Peace Officer Allisa Lloyd, Sylvan Lake RCMP Cpl. Kevin Halwa and APRCWA Director Lee Kasper. In the front are Benalto School winners Ayla Mykyte (Gr.6: 2nd place, $45), Emily Adams (Gr.3: 2nd place, $45), Austin Motycka (Gr.4: 3rd place, $35) and Taylor Stauffer (Gr.5: 1st place, $65) and Alberta shape first place winner plaque. Taylor’s drawing will be in the 2014-2015 APRCWA calendar.
