BY JESSICA ROUTHIER

Sylvan Lake 4-H Multi-Club had its first meeting of the year on Oct. 21. Elections were held and our lucky winners are president - Kalis Currie; vice-president - Katrina Reimer; secretary - Morgan Halsall; treasurer - Tiana Oostindie; club reporter - Jessica Routhier; historian – Caitlan Thompson and social committee - Cassidy Schulz, Marcus Ornella, Angelina Cornell and Megan and Austin Routhier. Other members are Rylea Lunde, Rebecca Belton and Kylee Tisdale.

Our members will be taking cooking and photography projects. If anyone is interested in sharing their skills at one of our meetings we would love to have you as a guest presenter. So far we have learned about Parliamentary Procedure, keeping record books and the importance of being able to speak in public.

Our next activity as a club is to participate in the Skate-A-Thon on Nov. 14. Our next meeting will be Nov. 18 at 6:30 in Room 103 at École H. J. Cody School. This will be the last opportunity for new members to join. Dues are $65 for the year and parents are encouraged to attend meetings with their child.
