Main or 50th Street, now known as Centennial Street has changed it’s face many times since the early days. Muddy roads with horses and wagons were lined with wooden sidewalks. Anything a Laker might need to shop for was in those few blocks.
Which place on Main Street do you miss the most from past decades? The old Movie Theatre? Cobbs or the Sylvan Lake Bakery where those sweet sticky buns were baked? Reliable Ritz Drugs or Adie’s Furniture and Novelties?
