École Our Lady of the Rosary School students Rhys and Cole Belcher run from a giant turkey during the school’s Turkey Trot last Friday. Throughout the afternoon, students enjoyed Thanksgiving-related songs, chants and dances. A number of food items — turkeys included — were donated by local businesses and subsequently raffled off.
School staff say the purpose of the event was to promote physical fitness while allowing students to celebrate everything they’re thankful for.
