The Sylvan Lake branch of The Royal Canadian Legion marked Vimy Ridge Day Tuesday with a lunch for veterans and a memorial service in the afternoon.
MP Earl Dreeshen and Mayor Susan Samson participated during the service by laying wreaths at the indoor cenotaph.
About 35 people attended the event.
