Author Sigmund Brouwer and École Steffie Woima Elementary School librarian Edie Sandberg presented the Servus Credit Union Martyn Godfrey Young Writers Award to Isaac Bahler Monday. Bahler won the award by submitting a short story entitled Terres the Turtle to a province-wide writing competition.
He consequently earned his school a visit from Brouwer, who employed music to show students the true excitement of reading and writing.
