A woman is recovering after being attacked by multiple dogs in the Maskwacis area.
RCMP say they were called to assist Emergency Medical Services on March 20 after a woman was found with injuries shortly after 11 a.m.
"Maskwacis RCMP received a request to assist EMS with a female victim who had been bitten by dogs," said media relations officer Cpl. Troy Savinkoff.
"At this time, the dogs in question have not been identified yet. The detachment is working with the community itself with regards to this. We don't know if these dogs were feral or home dogs."
Savinkoff said the woman was taken to hospital and treated for serious injuries but is recovering.
