The Sylvan Lake RCMP has advised that they are currently assisting the fire department with scene control at a fire near 51 Avenue and 47 Street in Sylvan Lake.
It is reported that an outbuilding is currently on fire.
Officers ask that residents avoid the area so that emergency personnel have room to work.
A release announcing the fire came in just after 3:45 p.m.
An update is anticipated.
