"As passionate supporters of Alberta's sports teams, we wanted to create a space where fans can come together and cheer on the Edmonton Oilers."

The watch party will offer a unique experience that fans won't get at home

"The stadium's jumbotron will broadcast the game, and the energy of being surrounded by fellow fans, cheering together, and feeling the collective excitement is expected to create an electric atmosphere," said director of community relations Marissa Stryker.

The opportunity to come an join in participating at the event is extended to all sports fans in the area, she added.

"We love any opportunity to support local and engage our community. We can’t wait to cheer on our Canadian team together and create lasting memories with all the fans who join us at Gulls Stadium."
