Sylvan Lake parents Chloe Ross and Dominik Zander said hello to their newborn son at 9:17 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Born at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Oliver Zander-Ross weighed seven pounds and three ounces.
The first-time parents were expecting Oliver to arrive next week, and proud dad Dominik said the unexpected arrival is the best possible start there could be to the New Year.
