The Town of Sylvan Lake wants community members to participate in the 2025 Resident Priorities survey.
Participating in the survey is the best way for Lakers to share their priorities with council, town staff said.
"Just as the Town is responsible for managing tax dollars carefully, residents are responsible for taking part in municipal processes. We create a healthier community when both sides participate. Survey results give staff and Council a clearer picture of what Lakers want in the 2025 budget."
By completing the survey Lakers get a chance to:
- Prioritize municipal services and amenities
- Tell the Town their preferred tax strategy
-Tell the Town what services they would increase or cut, based on their chosen tax strategy
- Submit ideas for cost-free revenue generation
- Tell the Town how each department is doing
- Tell the Town about their customer service experience with the Town
- Give general feedback
The survey will remain open until Oct. 26 and can be accessed on the website, engage.sylvanlake.ca/2025-budget.
"Please share the survey with other Lakers. The fewer people that submit a survey, the harder it is for us to know what the majority of Lakers want," town staff said.
Once the survey is closed results will be posted online and presented to council.
