Two Sylvan Lake students win school busy safety poster competition

Two of the seven winners came from schools in Sylvan Lake

Seven Chinook's Edge School Division students produced winning entries in the school bus safety poster contest.

Two of the seven winners came from schools in Sylvan Lake.

Grade 3 Beacon Hill Elementary School student Easton McCulloch, and Grade 4 Ecole Steffie Woima Student Lainey Stevens.

Students who participated in the contest had to draw a poster representing this year's theme, 'Be Clever, Dress for the Weather.'

A winning entry was then selected for a student from each grade in the Chinook's Edge School Division.

"Each entry was then submitted to the provincial level," Chinook's Edge School Division communications Coordinator Laurette Woodward said.

"Each winner received a framed copy of their poster and $25."
