Sylvan Lake classic car owners have a whole new market for their consignment treasures as EG Auctions hits the road to Saskatoon.
On June 20 and 21, the city of Saskatoon will host its first-ever live collector car auction, presented by EG Auctions and sponsored by ENS Auto Group. The event takes place at Prairieland Park’s World Trade Center, offering car lovers a comfortable and dynamic space to take in some of the finest vehicles on the collector scene.
For car owners in Sylvan Lake and beyond looking to sell, EG Auctions also offers a trusted consignment platform. Known for its high-energy events and national reach, EG helps private sellers get top exposure for their classic, custom and collector vehicles. With consignments still open, now is the perfect time to get your car in front of eager buyers.
The two-day event kicks off Friday with a public viewing of all vehicles up for auction. Adding to the buzz, Mike Hall from the hit TV series Rust Valley Restorers will be on-site to meet fans and preview the impressive lineup of cars. On Saturday, the main event begins: doors open at 8 a.m., and the live auction gets underway at 10 a.m., with more than 100 select collector vehicles rolling across the auction block – all led by World Champion Auctioneer Rod Burnett and World Champion Ringman David "Peewee" Irvine.
A major highlight of the weekend is the Bridge City Collection – a curated group of more than 15 rare and remarkable vehicles. Featured cars include a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette, a 1960 Chevrolet El Camino Custom, a 1968 Ford Mustang Pro Touring Restomod, a 1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible and a 1956 Pontiac Catalina. This unique lineup blends classic American design, custom craftsmanship and serious collector value.
“This is a full-circle moment for me,” says EG Auctions founder Todd Schwindt, who grew up in Saskatoon. “Bringing a live collector car auction to my hometown is something really special. We’ve designed it to be just like our Red Deer event – with an electric atmosphere and a high-quality lineup – but indoors and right here in Saskatchewan.”
The Saskatoon Collector Car Auction isn’t just for buyers. Consignments are still open and EG Auctions is actively seeking more vehicles to feature. Whether you own a restored classic, a muscle car, or a one-of-a-kind ride ready for the spotlight, now is the time to get it registered.
