If you’re looking for some red-hot auto auction action with high-octane excitement, the 18th Annual Spring Collector Car Auction is the event you won’t want to miss.
Hosted by EG Auctions, this high-energy, live auction at Red Deer’s Westerner Park is bringing together some of the most coveted classic cars, muscle cars and automobilia.
“The majority of the cars sell within Western Canada but a lot of our inventory will go down into the States,” says Todd Schwindt, president of EG Auctions. “We have a huge group of American buyers, and we sell overseas as well.”
When it comes to raw power, nothing really beats the throaty roar of a muscle car flexing its horsepower. But increasingly, Schwindt says, investors are realizing that classic cars have the potential to supercharge portfolios.
“You can buy a car today, wait three years, and if that car trends, it could be worth twice as much as what it was the prior year,” Schwindt explains. “The spike in the value of these cars can be exponential.”
