Don’t miss the Sylvan Lake Home Town Trade Show on April 5 and 6, featuring 20+ vendors!

Returning for the first time since 2019, the Sylvan Lake Home Town Trade Show is back on April 5 and 6 at NexSource Centre Curling Rink!

With more than 20 vendors set to attend this special community event, it’s a terrific opportunity to get to know what businesses and services are available right in your own backyard.

“The Trade Show is a great way for community members to learn about what local businesses and services have to offer them!” says Barb Pettie, Regional Publisher at Sylvan Lake News. “Shopping local and supporting our local economy helps everyone in the community thrive. Not only do you get to enjoy the convenience of shopping close to home, you also know your money is staying right here in Sylvan Lake, supporting your friends and neighbours.”

The trade show was always a popular tradition that brought the community together and the Sylvan Lake News and the Town of Sylvan Lake both look forward to the return of this community-centered event.

“I encourage all Lakers to join us at the Home Town Trade Show! It’s a fantastic opportunity to support our local businesses and connect with our community. Get to know more about the wonderful businesses that Sylvan Lake has to offer. Entry is free, and donations for the food bank are encouraged,” says Mayor Hanson.

Event details:

The Sylvan Lake Trade Show features both local retailers and various professionals offering a diverse range of services. Free parking is available onsite, and a concession will be open with snacks and beverages on both days.

“While admission to the event is free, we do encourage everyone to bring a non-perishable food bank donation for our local Sylvan Lake Community Food Bank to help combat food insecurity within our community,” Pettie says. “Alternatively you can also make a monetary donation online here. While we often think of the food bank during the holiday months, they’re in desperate need of donations all year to support those in need within our community,”
