With a police helicopter in the air, and a heavy police presence throughout the downtown area, members of the Hells Angels motorcycle club, along with a number of other clubs rode into Sylvan Lake Saturday afternoon, stopping for a while along Lakeshore Drive, some enjoying ice cream cones, before departing for Bentley and other locations.

Local residents, including Fred Langevin, mingled with members of the Hells Angels and other motorcycle clubs when they visited Sylvan during an annual ride through Central Alberta.

Among the clubs represented were Tribal, Berzerkerz, Seven Sins, Silent Few and Kaos Krew from Edmonton, Unforgiven from Calgary, Dirty Few from Parkland and Woodlands, Syndicate from Fort McMurray and Edmonton, Brotherhood Union, Valhallas Loyals and Soldiers for Jesus, according to patches on their vests.
