Emergency crews responded to a fire at a business east of Lacombe on May 5.
Dennis Cole, Lacombe fire chief said that the 20 employees and a few animals that were on-site at The Complete K9 were evacuated safely.
Highway 12 remained closed until just before midnight due to smoke in the area.
The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.
