Investigating thefts from vehicles

A complaint was received of mischief to vehicles and a residence on Peterson Way in Sylvan Lake.

Saturday, February 22nd

8:46 a.m. – A complaint was received of mischief to vehicles and a residence on Peterson Way in Sylvan Lake. Several eggs were thrown at the home and surrounding vehicles. There was no permanent damage done to the property. Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact Sylvan Lake RCMP.

8:57 p.m. – RCMP were called to a residence on 47th Street in Sylvan Lake after a 911 call was received of a fight in progress. Four to six males were reportedly fighting near Panago restaurant. Two of the males were located on 47th Street. They were determined to be brothers and they both advised it was a consensual fight. One of the males was arrested and lodged in cells due to his intoxicated state. The other male was advised to return home.

Sunday, February 23rd

3:56 a.m. – A 911 call was received of a domestic dispute at a Bentley residence. The 50-year-old female victim advised that her boyfriend had become violent and was damaging the residence. She also sustained an injury to her face. The woman declined treatment. Alcohol was a factor in the incident. A 35 year old Bentley male is charged with assault.

7:09 p.m. – A disturbance was reported at Dairy Queen in Sylvan Lake. Employees reported an intoxicated male ordered food and then passed out in the lobby. When members arrived, the male was eating the food and he was escorted to his residence to be cared for by a roommate.

Wednesday, February 26th

6:29 p.m. – RCMP are investigating thefts from vehicles at three different locations in Sylvan Lake. Light bars were stolen off of vehicles outside of residences on Reynolds Road, Lodge Place and Old Boomer Road. An investigation is ongoing.
