Interested people are invited to attend a meeting of the committee planning a new lighthouse for Sylvan Lake.
The meeting is being held next Wednesday (Jan. 16) at the Legion at 7 p.m.
Committee chair Trevor Sigfusson said they hope to gather information from several sub-committees at the meeting and then move on to the next step in planning.
People who haven’t had the opportunity to get involved yet, are welcome to come and join one of the sub-committees, he indicated.
Among the business items for the meeting will be reviewing progress since the last meeting, receiving an update from the land committee about location and an update from the accounting and finance committee on progress towards charitable status.
