Photos: Jaws at the Lake huge success

The lake and park was full for the unique movie experience

Many people pulled out various floation devices, blankets and lawn chairs to take in the viewing of Jaws at the Lake.

The lake bordering the west side of Lakeshore Park was packed with floaties of all sizes and colours, while on dry land the park quickly became full to bursting for the viewing.

Even as the movie began, a little later then the planned 9:15 p.m., people were still coming in trying to find a spot and make it over the rocks to float in the water.

On hand was a couple food trucks and a station for popcorn and drinks on dry land.

People strted coming out to find a spot very early on Aug.6, some stacking a claim on their spot as early as 7 p.m.

Jaws at the Lake is the first in a series of outdoor movies taking place this summer, though the next two - The Smurfs and Moana - are being viewed only on the park, no floaties needed.
