Sylvan Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying the three suspects involved in an alleged armed robbery in Bentley last week.

At just after 7:30 p.m. last Friday (July 31), three unidentified males met with a 41-year-old man outside Piccolo Pizza in Bentley.

Police say the meeting was the result of the suspects apparently wanting to buy a Lincoln Navigator SUV.

One of the suspects allegedly revealed a handgun and pointed it at the vehicle’s owner. The three suspects are said to have then fled from the area in a pickup truck.

Police describe the three suspects as Caucasian males between around five feet ten inches and six feet tall, each with a medium build. They were wearing black clothing at the time of the alleged crime.

The truck in which they allegedly fled is described as a Chevrolet pickup truck between the years of 1997 and 2000 and spray painted flat black.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sylvan Lake RCMP detachment at 403-858-7200, or Crime Stoppers, through which tipsters may remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.
