RCMP looking for information on residential fire

A fire at a Rozier Close home is being investigated by RCMP who are seeking information from the public.

A fire at a Rozier Close home is being investigated by RCMP who are seeking information from the public.

Cst. Sandra Noble, in a news release last Thursday, said the fire appeared to start near the front door and burned through the outer deck area causing smoke damage to the basement.

Cause of the fire is undetermined to date.

No one was in or near the residence at the time of the fire which Sylvan Lake firefighters responded to at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13.

The RCMP report in the Aug. 22 Sylvan Lake News indicated a red bucket on the front door step was seized.
