RCMP have seized two restricted firearms after they received an assault complaint.
A search warrant was executed at a residence on 48th Avenue last Friday, following investigation of the assault complaint which was reported Feb. 28.
Thomas James Rowland, 32, of Sylvan Lake has been charged with two counts of unsafe storage of restricted firearms as well as one count of assault, reported RCMP Cpl. James Allemekinders.
Rowland was released from custody after a bail hearing and is set to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court Mar. 26.
