The rain is causing a slight delay in the planned street sweeping schedule, according to the Town of Sylvan Lake.
The signs in place for the May 10 street cleaning are still valid, as the Town expects to continue with the cleaning schedule.
The rain is expected to end later today, with the planned street cleaning to follow.
The Town expects the street sweeping will resume later this afternoon and continue into Friday.
The following roads are scheduled for street sweeping on Thursday, May 10th (subject to conditions):
- 49 Street (south of 47 Avenue)
- 48 Street (south of 48 Avenue)
- 47 Street (south of 48 Avenue)
- 46 Street (south of 47 Avenue)
- 45 Street (south of 47 Avenue)
- 44 Street (south of 49 Avenue)
- 43 Street (south of 49 Avenue)
- 47 A Avenue (west of 46 Street)
- 47 Avenue (west of 50 Street)
- 51 Street (south of tracks)
- 52 Street (south of tracks)
- 53 Street (south of tracks)
- 48 Avenue (west of 50 Street)
- 50 Street (west side only – south of tracks)
- 48-49 Street Couplet (north of tracks)
- 47 Street (north of tracks)
