Sylvan Lake RCMP seeking culprit in Eckville pharmacy break-in

Sylvan Lake RCMP are trying to find the person who broke into an Eckville pharmacy and fled with medication last Wednesday.

Sylvan Lake RCMP are trying to find the person who broke into an Eckville pharmacy and fled with medication last Wednesday.

Police were called to Forhan’s Pharmacy in Eckville with alarms ringing just after 3 a.m. The suspect allegedly broke into the store, headed directly to the pharmacy area, lifted an undisclosed amount of medication and fled before police arrived on scene.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to contact the Sylvan Lake RCMP detachment at 403-858-7200, or Crime Stoppers, through which tipsters may remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477.

Tips provided to Crime Stoppers that lead to an arrest could result in a cash reward.
