During their regular meeting June 16, members of Sylvan Lake’s Municipal Planning Commission:
• approved a development permit for Cedo Modo Inc. to construct a third commercial building in the neighbourhood shopping complex at the corner of Herder Drive and Hinshaw Drive where two buildings have already been constructed.
At the same time they approved relocation of a play area for the daycare facility to the centre of the site where a fourth building had previously been planned.
• approved a secondary (basement) suite for a home being built at 83 Reynolds Road.
• approved a subdivision application to create four residential lots on the northwest corner of 52nd Street and 50B Avenue. A demolition permit had previously been issued for buildings at that location.
Subdivision is proposed to allow for side-by-side duplexes, stated a report from Matthew Pawlow, planning manager with Parkland Community Planning Services.
